3 hour intro to sail.
Come along with Captain Justin on a 3 hour sail. Helm the boat and adjust the sails in a relaxed and low stress intro to sailing experience.
ASA 101
spend a weekend learning to sail
For new sailors. a weekend class with both Classroom and on-water training. You’ll learn boating safety and how to sail.
ASA 103
an advanced class learning on a bigger sailboat
After completing aSA 101, our 103 class moves on to more advanced sailing, learning to manage boat systems, spending more time and covering more distance on the water.

How do I schedule an ASA class with RC Sailing School?
Find an available class and book online or call our school and ask about available class options.
How are Sailing lessons structured?
Classes will include dockside, Classroom and underway sessions. Weather will always be a factor in how a class will be structured. we will take advantage of good weather to get out on the water and may use bad weather time to concentrate on classroom lessons.
What materials are used in lessons?
Our classes are based on the ASA curriculum. those students who are able to read and study the relevant textbook will have a great advantage.
What will I need to bring for the weekend?
RC Sailing will provide all the safety equipment needed including lifejackets although you are welcome to bring your own. the right clothing is very important, staying dry and warm is crucial in bad weather and sun and heat protection equally Crucial for hot days on the water. a light lunch, water and snacks are also important for happy sailing.
